Ok, does somebody want to tell me where the heck 2015 went? Man, this year has gone by fast, faster than most. It is hard to believe that in just a few weeks we will be celebrating Christmas, and a few days after that, ringing in the new year. It seems like not so long ago, the Commentator was issuing it’s Year in Review edition and now, here we are already doing it again. Each year seems to fly by quicker than the last, it seems.
The Christmas lights are up throughout town and many folks already have their tree set up (I’m not one of those people!), some are almost finished baking, and still others are almost done with their shopping (again, not me)!
I’m not sure if this year was any better than any of the previous ones, or if the warm weather played a part in making this year fly by at warp speed. Of course, as in years past, there just never seems to be enough time to get everything done that we so ambitiously planned out at the start of January. And, then there are those projects that got half-finished to be continued in the coming months. Like some households, these are projects left to be done from the year before, but are just some of things that always seem to get put off until tomorrow. I do have a few of those, but they are going to have to wait now until January when hopefully, I will have a bit of time to dedicate to them. I say this every December, too. I know of a few writing projects that have been carried over for about four years now, still waiting to be finished. One of these days!
Anyway, tomorrow never comes and what doesn’t get done today can wait until tomorrow. Or something like that!
December is always a busy month and I know for a fact, none of these side projects are even going to get a glance. I’ll find the time in January to work on them. Maybe!
