The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is well underway and fans should enjoy ride the rest of the way. You’ve got the likes of Crosby, Ovechkin, McDavid, Karlsson and the list goes on. Every hockey fan has a team they cheer for and you can’t help but join in on the experience.
The excitement always builds up for a die-hard fan and at this time of year there is nothing wrong with taking an interest as a fan with another team because your team is not in contention. Most times you watch the games because there is hockey on every night until mid-June before a long summer break and even then you’re getting antsy for September to arrive again after watching a team experience glory. I guess that’s what summer is for is to sit on the playoffs it was.
You almost feel like you’re apart of it because of the world class talent that’s being viewed on the ice through the T.V. screen because you feel the pain, sweat, tears and joy of a hard fought battle. Playoffs always provide an adrenaline rush and it’s the enjoyment of sharing moments with other fans of the game because you’re in it together.
Discussions can be fierce at times depending on who you talk to but at least everyone is spirited. If you watch all four rounds of the playoffs or sparingly tune in, fans are always curious as to how the quest for Lord Stanley’s Mug is going to pan out and it’s hard to let a certain team go because of how they compete, a player, or the city’s hype surrounding the series and you want to feel a part of it. Fans play a major factor in how a team is shaped, so keep the postseason energy alive and well because it’s a fun experience had by everyone involved.
