Cypress County is moving forward with a planned rebrand, though residents will not get to see the new face of the region until next week.

“The rebrand is intended to reflect Cypress County today while creating a strong, modern identity that can carry the organization into the future,” a county statement reads. “It will provide a consistent look and feel across county communications, signage, facilities, vehicles and other materials as implementation progresses.”

Details of this change however, are staying a secret for now.

The new brand, including Cypress County’s updated logo and visual identity, will be officially unveiled Sept. 18 during the Site Link Forum economic development conference.

“We’re excited to share this next chapter for Cypress County,” said Mayor Dan Hamilton. “A lot of thought has gone into creating a brand that reflects who we are, where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. Sept. 18 will be the first opportunity for the public to see it.”

After the unveiling, the new brand will be introduced gradually as existing assets are updated.
