RCMP recover stolen van and trailer

Bow Island RCMP have recovered  a service van and trailer after responding to a theft call on Sept. 19 in Bow Island.

It was earlier in the morning on Sept. 19 that RCMP responded  to a stolen service van and trailer from a local business in the town.

Police later found the service van and trailer  a mile north of Highway 3 at Range Road 134 in the M.D. of Taber. Hand and power tools used for plumbing and heating services were no longer in the service van.The trailer was located several hours later at Township Road 104 and Hughway 879 in the County of Forty Mile.

Bow Island RCMP would like to remind citizens to secure their vehicles by removing keys, locking doors and locking hitches to help protect valuable belongings.
