The airwaves are full of Donald Trump’s foibles, but sometimes he makes sense, with a surprisingly moderate view.
In the matter of the Virginia race riots, the president expressed an unpopular reality: nobody is perfect. There’s enough blame – more or less – to go around.
Political correctness dictates that all the bigotry occurs on the white side of the racial divide. Not so. I lived for years in a bi-racial Canadian city where, in my experience, the greatest bigots tended to be the blacks.
Reasonable people (though not everyone is reasonable) judge others, not by their color or ethnicity, but by their attitudes and behavior. Well, I have seen enough attitudes and behavior to cause racism.
No race is entirely innocent in the race relations turmoil.
