Bow Island RCMP office still closed to the public

Bow Island RCMP is wanting to remind the public that due the COVID-19 pandemic, the detachment still remains closed to the public for administrative purposes.
“No entry is allowed for administrative circumstances at this time in order to protect the health of our employees as an essential service provider,” read the RCMP release.
Call 9-1-1 if you need urgent assistance, call (403) 545-2100 to reach the Bow Island RCMP dispatch centre and (403) 545-2784 for administrative assistance.
People can report a minor crime online now at https://ocre-sielc.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/alberta/en
Minor crimes include losing something that costs less than $5000, something stolen from you that is less than $5,000, vandalized property or vehicle and $5,000 or less to repair and the crime happened within the Alberta RCMP jurisdiction
However, minor crimes reporting can’t be done if there is a witness or suspect, there are lost or stolen items involving personal identity or firearms and lost or stolen licence plates ore decals.
