Woman charged with stealing money from Redcliff Legion makes first court appearance

Kristine Huff made her fist appearance in the Alberta Court Justice on April 17 facing two charges involving theft and fraud from the Redcliff Legion over a two-year period.

Huff is charged with one count of fraud over $5,000 as she is accused of defrauding the Legion for a total of $63,749.30 between March 2020 and March 2022.

Huff is also charged with theft over $5,000 for stealing money that exceeded $5,000 between the same time as her first charge.

Huff is scheduled to appear in Alberta Court Justice again May 8.
