This last weekend the Irvine Peewee Bulldogs won the Provincial Peewee D Championship, going undefeated all weekend.
Three of the players finished Top 3 in points  1st- Hunter Stimson 24 poins, tied for 3rd- Carson Sauter and Luke Renschler 16 pointss each, and not to mention a stellar performance by their goalie Tyler Wakelam allowing only eight goals against in  five games. This couldn’t have been done without the rest of the Irvine Peewee Bulldogs teammates and coaches hard work and dedication.
One of the Parents(Troy Sauter)wrote: “Truly amazing year from a great group of kids”.
“The last time the dogs lost was January 29th at that time they were fifth  in their league. With only 11 skaters and a refuse to lose attitude they won three rounds of league playoffs to win the league. Then won zone 6 playoffs to make it to Provincials and then Provincial Champions!  These kids will never forget this amazing experience and it was great to be apart of.  I truly believe sports help build good people. With the teamwork, leadership and determination that was shown by this group the world is in good hands.”
