Chris Pinchin has only been on the job at his new position at the Forty Mile Community Resource Centre in Bow Island and he is hoping people will stop by, say hello, and make use of the wide range of services the facility has to offer.

“We offer all kinds of services. We have our job board, raise public awareness about events, and book people for schooling opportunities,” said Pinchin. “We have resources for people who need assistance with all sorts of things, have computers available to give people access to the Internet, and it is a place for the young people to hang out and shoot a game of pool.”

Pinchin will be the go-to guy for folks putting together their resumes and cover letters, as well as offer resource material for schooling, funding, self-improvement courses, budgeting, information on apprenticeships, and many other subjects.

The CRC also holds workshops, both on-site and in the community, on career planning, resume preparation, employment skills, and funding opportunities.
