Election Canada final results for Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner byelection

Here are the final Election Canada results from Monday evening’s byelection for the Cypress-Medicine Hat-Warner byelection.
Voter turnout was poor, with just 44.5%, or 34,260 voters placing ballots at 223 polling stations across the constituency. There are 76,911 registered electors in the riding.

Glen Motz (Conservative): 23,932, 69.9%
Stan Sakamoto (Liberal): 8,778, 25.6%
Rod Taylor (Christian Heritage Party): 702, 2%
Beverly Waege (NDP): 353, 1%
Sheldon Johnston (Libertarian): 284, .8%
Kayne Cooper (Rhinoceros): 211, .6%
