Pruden and Wakelam were chosen out of 107 applicants for the Princess for a Day . The day included a ride in a limosine ride to Red Velvet Hair and Body Bar to get their hair done before heading off to Northlands Shoppers Drug Mart for make-up. The sashes and crowns were a part of the prize packages, while the families got tickets to the evening Spring Rodeo.
