If you are a Redcliff family looking for newer winter gear for the upcoming season, Town Hall is the place to come in a couple weeks time.

The annual Redcliff Coats for Kids and Families campaign is back for another year where from Nov. 4-15, people in the community can come pick out winter wear.

“Coats for Kids and Families campaign is a free program where anyone is welcome to come and pick out warm coats and outerwear that have been donated by the community. It’s completely free,” said Carla Spampinato, the Town of Redcliff FCSS event coordinator.

Spampinato says the program is important because warm outerwear is expensive.

“So many of us have a closet with at least a few coats that we’ve grown out of,” she said.

“ There are a lot of families that have a difficult time financially purchasing new outerwear for their families year-after-year and it’s important for our community to come together to support this need.”

“The initiative has been well utilized, but even if one family is provided with coats, this campaign is a success.”

Anyone with gently used or new coats has until Nov. 1 to drop the items off at Redcliff Town Hall.
For those in need of a winter outfit can come by Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday from Nov. 4-15.
