Town of Bow Island council passed the airport lot prices for the hangar subdivision at their Oct. 28 meeting.
The subdivision of hangar lots has been completed and there is interest from the leaseholder to purchase lots that their hangars have been built on.
“Council has established a price on what they would sell the lots for,” said town Chief Administrative Officer Dave Matz.
Administration is suggesting that lots one through nine would have a sale of $375 per frontage meter.
Based on that $375 a frontage meter, Lot 1 would sell for $12,431.25, , Lot 2 $12, 573.75, Lot 3 $8,160, Lot 4, $13,556.25, Lot 5 $18, 858.75 and Lots 6-9 will cost $6,285 each.
Development of lots will add long term tax revenue that would far exceed the revenue from land revenues.
If anyone has any questions about the lots , they can contact Matz at the town office at (403) 545-2522.
