Bow Island RCMP investigating a service van and trailer theft

Bow Island RCMP have started an investigation after a a service van and trailer theft in the town on Sept. 19.

Police responded to a report earlier in the morning  of a service van and trailer being stolen from a Bow Island business on Saturday.

The service van was later recovered one mile north of Highway 3 at Range Road 134 in the M.D. of Taber. Hand and power tools used for plumbing and heating services were no longer in the service van. The trailer was located several hours later at Township Road 104 and Highway 879 in the County of Forty Mile

Bow Island RCMP would like to remind citizens to secure their vehicles by removing keys, locking doors, and locking hitches to help protect valuable belongings.
