The Canadian Ski Patrol Palliser Zone’s second annual ski swap goes Saturday at Medicine Hat’s Southridge YMCA.
Skiers will be able to turn their used equipment into cash and take advantage of the great bargains on new used ski and snowboard equipment for the upcoming season.
Equipment registration and consignment will be on Oct. 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Consignment fee is $2 per item to a maximum of $20 (10 items). Any additional items will be consigned for free.
The swap’s consignment is 20 per cent and donations are welcome.
The Ski Swap will then take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24.
The Medicine Hat Southridge YMCA is located at 644 Spruce Way SE.
“Proceeds from the event will stay in the community and go towards the purchase of first aid and rescue equipment and education programs,” the release read.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place and adhered too. Masks, hand sanitation and contact tracing will be required.
