Bow Island/Burdett Chamber of Commerce hand out small business awards

While the Bow Island/Burdett Chamber of Commerce did not host an in-person business awards night during National Small Business Week this year, award recipients were still chosen in various categories.
The 2020 winners were:
Long Service Award-Bow Island Hardware
Spirit of Bow Island/Burdett -Western Tractor
Most Innovative New Business- Green Island Farm
Business of the Year: Bow Island Auto Service
Honorable mentions for coming forward in extraordinary times were: Peter’s Family Restaurant, Bow Island Apple Drugs, Len’s Foods, Island Market, Rolling Pin Bakery and Servus Credit Union.
The Chamber of Commerce conducted an online survey prior to Small Business Week to determine the winners.
Winners had to have a Chamber of Commerce membership to qualify for the awards, with the exception of Most Innovative New Business.
