The Alberta Dental Association and College confirmed to the Cypress Courier there were positive COVID-19 cases among Redcliff Family Dental Centre employees.
“The ADA&C is aware of a dental practice where employees have tested positive for COVID-19. Those involved are co-operating with the ADA&C and public health to limit the risk of spread. Alberta Health is responsible for contact tracing to identity all individuals who have had close contact with the confirmed cases. This practice took significant measures to further prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of patients and staff,” said Dr. Randall Croutze, CEO, Alberta Dental Association and College.
The Dental Centre nor Alberta Health returned phone calls as to how many positive cases there were or the how long ago the cases were confirmed.
The Redcliff Dental Centre is now temporarily closed until Nov. 23.
