COVID-19 case confirmed at St. Michael’s School

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has been informed of a case of COVID-19 at St. Michael’s School in Bow Island.  

All close contacts have been informed and are required to isolate while following the directives provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS). Out of respect for those impacted and in accordance with AHS guidelines, further details about members of the community who may test positive for COVID-19 cannot be disclosed.

As of today, December 3, 2020, the division has six active cases at three school sites (CCH (3)  St. Mary’s School in Taber (2) and St. Michael’s School in Bow Island (1)), requiring the isolation of 110 staff and students.
