Council passes 2021 operating budgets

Council approved the 2021 operating revenue budget of $30, 329, 260 and an expenses budget of $30, 326,411at its April 20 meeting.
MOST Allocation
Council approved to allocate $7,880 to the Hilda Community Association, with funds coming from the Municipal Operating Support Transfer (MOST) grant. That amount allocated was due to the lost revenues the Hilda and Community Association experienced due to COVID with lost events.
Range Road 23
That Council direct administration to repair the existing roadside drainage on Range Road 23 to prevent further deterioration of the roadway, and place 30km/h signage at the top of the hill and appropriate signs that describe road hazards.
