Irvine and District Agriculture Society hosting a Front Yard Contest

The Irvine & District Agriculture Society is having a Front Yard Contest for the Hamlet of Irvine.

The Agriculture Society will be judging eye-appealing yards that can be filled with plants, flowers or the homeowner can have an endless imagination.

When people come to our Sports Complex, they get to see all the hard work Irvine residents put into their yards.  So we will give out $75 for the three best front yards. Prizes will be awarded at the end of August.

The Women’s Institute of Irvine has been judging yards for years in Irvine. So we thought we would give the hard working ladies a break. In the past, these hard-working ladies also beautified Irvine with their flower beds. They raise funds & donate to buy plants & fertilizer, then go and plant & water them all summer long.  They also give out cash for the best Christmas light display. We appreciate all the hard work these ladies have done, and are still doing!!! Thanks Ladies.
