The Bow Island and Foremost ATB Financial branches recently collaborated on a highly successful silent auction in support of the Bow Island and District Health Foundation. The event, spearheaded by CSR Anna Staughton from the Bow Island branch, raised an impressive $20,888.00.
Peter Wiebe from the Foremost branch played a key role in the partnership, working closely with the Bow Island team to gather an impressive array of auction items. Sponsors from across the county and throughout the province generously donated over 100 items, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection for bidders. The enthusiastic response from participants resulted in many items selling for or above their retail value.
Funding for the auction was made possible through a combination of donations, including uplift donations from the branches and a generous $5,000 contribution from a local Hutterite Colony.
The Bow Island and District Health Foundation plays a vital role in the community by providing financial assistance to individuals and organizations in need of medical equipment not covered by government funding. Their efforts focus on enhancing the patient experience and improving quality of life.
This successful silent auction is a testament to the dedication and collaborative spirit of the Bow Island and Foremost branches. Their hard work and commitment to community service have made a significant difference in the lives of those who rely on the Bow Island and District Health Foundation.
