This Saturday, September 20, sees musician Brandon Santini take to the stage at Blues At The Bow.
“I was inspired as a teen by listening to mainstream radio in the mid 1990’s and hearing the harmonica work by John Popper of the band Blues Traveler,” says Santini of his early musical inspirations. “They had hits with Run-around and Hook. I never looked back!”
Over many performances during the course of his career, he feels fortunate to have been able to perform in Cairo, Egypt in 2009.
“I’m very proud to perform mostly original music, but we will serve up some modern takes on classic blues covers like Who Do You Love? by Bo Diddley, Nine Below Zero by Sonny Boy Williamson, and Watch Yourself by Little Walter,” he notes about the upcoming Blues At The Bow performance.
“We’re looking forward to connecting with and vibing with our Bow Island friends again,” he adds. “Know that you are going to get an authentic, family friendly evening of music that spans throughout my 20 plus years of touring!”
