Blues at the Bow Halloween Bash features Little Magic Sam

Get ready for Blues at the Bow’s Halloween Bash! In addition to a costume contest, you’ll be thrilled by the smooth sounds of Little Magic Sam.

Jason Riddell, President of Blues at the Bow, says, “We are excited to have Little Magic Sam at the Bow Theatre for our Halloween bash. Our Halloween shows tend to sell out, and we expect this show to sell out as well!”

“You still have time to come up with a unique costume, as we will have prizes for the best costumes,” Riddell continues. “As with all of our shows, we invite you to bring appetizers or snacks to enjoy. There are not too many places you can bring in your own munchies or food! Our full service bar will have whatever beverages you need.”

Have you been thinking, “But I’m not a Blues music fan?” If so, Riddell notes, “We are very mindful in the artists we bring in for our concert series, making sure their style of music is enjoyable for everyone. That’s the great thing about the Blues at the Bow series. This show is the 4th out of five shows for our 32nd season, 2025-2026 line up, so don’t miss out!”

Sam Taylor, aka Little Magic Sam, is from St. Thomas, Ont. A natural performer all his life, he loves to showcase blues and soul music – which he has done since the young age of seven. A diploma in music industry arts backs his foray into studio productions, including (with noted producer Moe Berg) original songs Thought of Leaving and Loaded Gun.

Taylor’s music has been featured on TV shows such as Haven, Cracked, and Degrassi. He has been on stage with Chuck Leavell of the Rolling Stones and with Canada’s treasure, Gordon Lightfoot, among many others.

Last year, the Little Magic Sam Band won the Maple Blues Award for New Artist or Group of the Year and followed that up with a performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
