Life moves fast and those special moments, like a pregnancy or having a newborn, are equally fleeting. Bev Van Es Studio captures those moments, ensuring you can look back on them for years to come.

“I’ve always loved taking photos, ever since I was little. However, I started shooting professionally 14 years ago and opened Bev Van Es Studios in 2023,” shares Beverly Van Es, studio owner and professional photographer.

She has a focus on newborns, maternity, beauty and boudoir serving the southeastern Alberta area.

“I understand how hard it can be to get in front of the camera; I’ve never liked getting my own photo taken,” she says of how she empowers women to feel special during the most transformational periods of their lives. “I wanted to help other women feel confident and beautiful in photos. I have an eye for key moments in people’s lives and it brings me joy to capture those moments. There is something so captivating about documenting moving and living art.”

Her area of expertise? Beverly says it is, “Posing and directing my clients and helping people have fun at photo shoots.”

 “Bow Island has been such a supportive community,” she adds. “I have the best clients, who I now consider my friends, and have had the honour of capturing so many life moments for them.”
