Our club had our first meeting for this year on October 1, 2022. We have 22 kids in our club: 3 seniors, 9 intermediates, 4 juniors, and 6 cleavers.

For projects we have beef, light horse, small pet, and sheep. We have most of our kids in beef and light horse. We are starting our projects soon.

The Borderline 4-H Multi club started in 1995 with 40 members and 10 leaders. A lot of our club members have parents who were in 4-H in various clubs around the area. Our club hopes to keep it growing for generations to come.  We would like to recognize Cathy Bauer who has dedicated many years to our club, including 5 years as General Leader. This year she is graciously coaching our new general leader Chelsi Bader, as Cathy’s son Luke nears his last years in 4-H. We want to thank her for all of her hard work.

This year our club is hosting colour night at the Hilda Hall on November 19, 2022. The theme is “Small town 4-H dreams”, and you can get tickets from any Cactus Country 4-H Club. Supper is at 5:30pm. Awards, including district awards, record book awards, Kiwanis Norm Payne award, and friend of 4-H award, begin at 7:00 pm. Classey Ferguson, a local band, will be performing live for our dance. We are very excited to start our 4-H year off with this event and wish all of our fellow district members a great year.
