Town of Redcliff’s request for project suggestions were quiet

Approximately two weeks ago, the Town of Redcliff put out a call for suggestions for projects to include into the 2023 Budget, but have received no suggestions.

Most years they receive around three to four suggestions, said Mike Davies, Corporate Services Director, but outside of a usual request for funding from the Redcliff Youth Centre, nobody has come forward with any idea for the 2023 year. 

The deadline has since passed, but Davies is hopeful that perhaps residents and organizations have simply brought their requests directly to Council this year, as opposed to through him, which is how it’s often done.
