Toy Run was a major success, great start from Irvine Hotel

Many of the motorbikes lined the streets of Irvine with many adorned with toys as they enjoyed some breakfast and fellowship.

The Motorcycle Enthusiasts Toy Run Sept. 10 was a huge success. Over 750 bikers and community members merged in the Stampede grounds to support the Santa Claus Fund. Over 20,000 in toys were donated and over $21,000 in cash.

All proceeds stay in Medicine Hat and southeast Alberta to help families at Christmas. One of the members of the organizing team Heather McCaig said. “Thank you to the community for coming out to support this event for the last 36 years. Your support means so much.”
