Letter to Editor Re: Reminiscent of Bill 6 disaster
It seems a shame that Brian Jean would yet again drag out that tired old canard that Bill 6 was enacted “without consulting farmers and ranchers”.
If Mr Jean had been in Alberta in years past he may have been  aware that the Alberta government has engaged in near continuous consultations with farmers and ranchers dating back more than a decade.
Upon his return to Alberta, if he had been paying attention, he may have noticed that this ND government began consulting with the aforementioned farmers and ranchers within days of being elected and the consultations are ongoing right now.
As Leader of Alberta’s Official Opposition, Brian Jean  should drop his ideological attack on the ND government and remember his oath to defend the charter.
