A delicious meal and good company were two good reasons for people to attend last Friday evening’s fundraiser at Cherry Coulee Christian Academy. Another reason was to help raise money for the school’s building project.
Besides the supper, dozens of items were also up for bid in a silent auction to help raise money.
The project, which began three years ago with the purchase of some portable classrooms, is nearing completion with just the flooring needing to be installed and some minor completion work to be finished.
The added classrooms will give the students at Cherry Coulee more space for learning and additional room for administration and storage.
Principal, Mike Daniels said if everything goes well, the students may be in their new classrooms by the new year.
