MVC on Highway 3 claims two lives

Two people are dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 3 occurred at 7:30 a.m., approximately five miles east of Grassy Lake.
According to a statement issued by the RCMP, the preliminary investigation shows that an eastbound 2005 Pontiac car crossed the center line a struck an oncoming Chevrolet pickup truck.
The drivers of both vehicles were killed (male in the truck and female in the car).
Two passengers in the truck were transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation in ongoing but alcohol has been ruled out. Speed and distracted driving are being looked at as causal factors.
The identities and ages of the involved parties are not being released.
