Robbie Burns Night has been held ever y year for the past 25 plus years at the Redcliff Legion and will be returning again this year to celebrate the Scottish poets life and poetry.
The Burns supper is held every year on or around his Jan. 25 birthday.
The night’s proceedings will start with the Alberta Scottish Pipes and Drums band entertainment and they will bring in the haggis, which is a traditional Scottish meal.
“We serve a haggis supper,” said Barry Cole, vice-president of the Redcliff Legion.
“Once you’ve tried it, you know you’ve experienced something different. If you’re willing to try something, it’s got some good flavours.”
He added it is a great social event to get to know Legion members and many new people.
A donation will be accepted if you would like to taste the haggis.
Admission to Robbie Burns night is free and will be at the Redcliff Legion on Jan. 20 at 7 p.m.
