A water main break on the night of March 1 had Village of Foremost officials calling for an emergency water use restriction. The water main break occurred at 7 p.m. and impacted 600 residents.
Village Council released a statement saying ‘At the request of the village council, please limit your water consumption to emergency use only. A water line break has resulted in extra stress on the water treatment plant and it currently is unable to meet demand. crews are working hard to resolve this issue. Updates will be provided when available.’
An update was provided on March 2 via the village’s website.
“The Village of Foremost staff and a list of amazing volunteers have completed an emergency bypass to restore water use. They continue to work diligently to fix the water leak. They ask that residents still continue to conserve water while the water treatment plant regains storage capacity.”
