Batus to participate in 24-hour cycle challenge

Four BATUS soldiers at CFB Suffield will participate in a 24-hour cycle challenge on Sept. 24-25 to raise funds for the Medicine Hat Brown Bag Lunch Program.
The soldiers participating include Tom Konarzewski, Andrene Love Sutherland, Mitchell Garton and Kwesi Nyalemegbe.
The group’s focus is to cycle 720 kilometres within a 24-hour period.
The dental and medical team personell will attempt this challenge on a WattBike.
Each participant will ride an hour at a time and no food will be able to be consumed for the duration of the challenge.
Funds will also be raised for the ABF- The Soldiers’ Charity.
