An investigation is underway after a train derailment, east of Bow Island, on Feb. 21.
A freight train that was carrying grain, derailed 14 cars at approximately 11 a.m. Sunday morning at Range Road 103 and Township Road 112 in the County of Forty Mile.
“There were no injuries to the crew and no public safety concerns,” said Salem Woodrow, a CP spokesperson in an email response.
“After all track repairs were made and safety inspections complete, CP reopened the rail line to freight traffic early Monday morning (Feb.22).”
