The Bow Island/Susan Andersen Library is hosting a silent auction fundraiser from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4.
People will be able to come into the library between those dates and bid on items from hours of 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the highest bid will win.
“We do fundraisers every couple of years just to support the library and services locally we do here in town,” said Kathryn Van Dorp, librarian.
“We’ve been given some really great donations and the support has been great and we can raise some funds to keep our library going.”
Van Dorp added, “We have great library patrons that really know the importance of libraries and have always supported us in anything we do.”
Items that be bid on include local artwork, quilts, sporting equipment, games, gift cards and fun family baskets.
The library is using the Covid restriction of one-third capacity system, but masking is mandatory and hand sanitizer must be used.
