Fatal collision claims 34-year-old male driver

A 34-year-old male driver from Saskatchewan was pronounced  deceased  at the scene after a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 41 N. on Nov. 28.
Redcliff RCMP responded to the fatal collision at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday involving a semi-tractor trailer unit and motor vehicle south of Schuler between Range Roads 23 and 24.
HALO and EMS were also on scene of the collision.
The semi-tractor trailer was travelling northbound and collided head on with the passenger vehicle travelling south bound. The collision resulted in the semi going off the shoulder of the road and rolling over.
The highway was closed in both directions for several hours to allow for the RCMP Collision reconstructionist to investigate the scene and to clean up the dangerous substance.
A 30-year-old female passenger was flown to Medicine Hat hospital by HALO with serious injuries and the 49-year-old truck driver suffered minor injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate the collision. No further updates are anticipated.
