The Bow Theater, Noeline Hofman, and good company, all combine for the upcoming and unforgettable Ladies Night.
This special evening is being hosted at the legendary Bow Theatre, featuring local talent Noeline Hofmann and Company, as well as karaoke when the live music set is completed.
“This event is meant to recognize the women in our community and show them appreciation by giving them a night on the town,” said Christina Unruh, director of Bow Island and District Tourism Society. “We are excited to showcase Noeline and her band with the hopes of making this an annual event.”
The North Forty Mile Tourism Society is hosting the event as part of an ongoing effort to bring more tourism into the community, as well as part of a fundraiser in order to purchase holiday decorations for the visitor information centre.
“The proceeds from this year’s show will be put towards installing permanent LED lights that can be programmed for special occasions such as Christmas, Canada Day, New Years, and others,” said Unruh. “These lights will be utilized year-round and will bring focus towards our visitor information centre. Along with those lights, we would like to purchase Christmas decorations to be enjoyed by all who pass through our beautiful town.”
The event has always been very well received, with expectations for a completely sold-out event well before the May 12 evening rolls around.
Tickets are still available at the town office or on EventBrite, which can be accessed through the town website or the Town of Bow Island Facebook page and those interested are encouraged to purchase soon, as most of the seats have already been spoken for.
