Town of Bow Island spring cleanup begins, pickup on May 23

The Town of Bow Island will again assist you in the spring clean up happening on May 23. If you wish to take advantage of this service, refuse must be placed in brown paper bags and all branches cut smaller and securely bundled (All piles of branches should be shorter than 48” long and no bigger than 6” in diameter) and placed in your back lane BEFORE MAY 23. You must use BROWN PAPER BAGS for all your grass and leaves. (Bow Island Hardware will have some available for purchase, so that Public Works staff can recycle the leaves, grass and bags to the compost site).

No garbage is allowed.

We will NOT accept appliances, electronics, dirt, cement and loose tree branches.

At this time, we request that property owners do all necessary pruning of backyard trees to allow the garbage truck clear access through the back lane.
