Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation
The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation has just completed a heart-warming, informative, and amusing short video featuring Taber’s famous Rodeo son, Bud VanCleave.
The free premier will be showing at the Royal Hotel in Taber on December 27 at 2 p.m.
VanCleave shares the danger, the hard-won trophies, and the always-on-the-road life of a rodeo star.
The video illustrates the events VanCleave competed in, including Bull Riding, Steer Decorating, Calf Roping, Wild Cow Milking and Saddle Bronc Riding.
The “slice of life” video serves as a trip down memory lane with scrapbook photos of VanCleave’s career, an entertaining interview, and a tailored revealing poem (written as an introduction) created in his honour by President Jen Zollner.
Come see VanCleave on screen and in person as he is always entertaining!
The Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry Foundation preserves, promotes and performs cowboy poetry and western music to celebrate the history, traditions and lifestyle of the cowboy and rural living in Medicine Hat and area.
