A night of good food and community support will once again be brought to Burdett this March, as the Burdett School and the Burdett School Association will be hosting their annual supper and auction at the Burdett Community Hall on March 8.

The purpose of the auction is to support funding for many important school programs, as well as strengthen instruction for students through acquiring various items. Examples of programs and items that the supper and auction has helped fund include sports tournaments, hunter education, theatrical performances, Whitebear Creations, STEM projects, as well as the purchase of standing desks and wobble stools.

Those in the community can offer donations to the auction, ranging from clothing, gift baskets, event tickets, gift certificates, or products from your business. In appreciation for your support a letter from the Burdett School and the Burdett School Association says “a sponsor list will be displayed at the auction as well as each sponsor being announced as their items are put up for bid. We would also like to feature some donors and the items they provide on our school Facebook page the week before the auction.”

Randi Belcourt is the parent contact for the school, and can be reached at 403-928-4813. Those wanting to support can also contact the school and ask for Mrs. Rebmann or Mrs. Pinchin.
