Nominations open for Bow Island council byelection

Nominations are now open to fill a vacant seat on Bow Island town council.

Coun. Lyle Tuchscherer resigned from the position Jan. 26 in a letter to council that was accepted Feb. 12.

Council has approved the process that would have a byelection held May 15.

Nomination day will be held April 17 with the nomination period beginning immediately.

The next general municipal election in Alberta will be held in October 2025.
