How to Register for the SASG – A Step-by-Step Guide

The Southern Alberta Summer Games (SASG) are nearly here and there is still time to register! Registration has been extended to June 9, closing at 11:59 pm.

Here is a step-by-step guide so you can claim your place in the games

• Go to https://www.southernalbertasummergames.ca/

• Close to the top of the page you will see a clickable link for Registration & Regional Directors. Go ahead and click on that. Once you do, a drop-down menu appears. Select your region from this menu.

• Each region has its own link. Scroll down the page until you see “To complete the online registration, click HERE. The “HERE” takes you to a login page.

• If you don’t have a log in, follow the directions on the page to create an account. Once you do that, simply log in and fill out the details. 

Important information to know

• E-sports, cribbage, and golf are first-come first-serve and limited for players. If those are full, contact the regional director to go on the waitlist.

• The contact information for each regional director is on the region page (from the drop-down menu). Contact your regional director if you have questions or any trouble with the online registration process.

• You can choose up to three events under one registration fee. Note that track and field is considered one event. This is important so you don’t overpay for each event! However, if you do, an applicable refund will be issued.

• I’m not sure if the event I want to enter is full. What should I do?
  • Contact your regional director. If it is full you can go on a waiting list.

• I overpaid because I didn’t realize I could enter three events for one fee! What should I do?
  • Please be patient. Refunds for this are being processed.
• I am having trouble setting up or accessing my account. Who can help me?
  • Your regional director can help you with this.

• Where can I find important information such as rules, waivers, game times, and edibility?
  • All the details are online at https://www.southernalbertasummergames.ca/. Eligibility for each region/sport is on the regional pages.

• I’m just so excited about the SASG! How do I connect with others about this?
  • SASG is active on Facebook and Instagram! Get social!

Don’t delay!

Some sports fill up fast and remember, there are extra options this year that include e-sports and cribbage. So, don’t delay! You now have everything you need to register. Do so in advance of the extended June 9 deadline.
