Rocky Athas show at the Bow Theatre on Oct. 26

Rocky Athas will be making his debut at the Blues at the Bow Halloween Costume Bash on October 26 at the Bow Theatre, and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m. while the show itself starts at 8:30 p.m.

“If you are lucky enough to get tickets to the October 26 Halloween Bash and a Halloween costume worthy of winning coveted tickets to a future show, you will be in for a treat of Athas’ guitar riffs,” said Jason Riddell, President of Blues at the Bow. “You might even be whisked away to a Texas nightclub scene, right here at the Bow Theatre.”

Rocky Athas, Riddell says, is a virtuoso of the blues rock genre. 

“He’s not just a musician, he is a steward of the blues, a guardian of its legacy, and a trailblazer that continues to push the boundaries of what the blues genre can be,” said Riddell.

“Although there is no bad seat in the house, if you have a favourite spot to sit, we recommend getting there early,” said Riddell. “Come on in, grab a beverage from the best bartenders in town, get settled, and be ready for an evening of Texas blues rock. This will be Rocky Athas’ debut performance at the theatre, and we can’t wait to show him the energy and vibe our little but mighty theatre has to offer. It will be a show for memory books, and we hope you’ll join us.”
