Highway 41 closes after school bus, vehicle collide; no injuries

A collision between a school bus and a passenger vehicle closed a portion of Highway 41 for a period on Nov. 25.

Redcliff RCMP received a 911 complaint around 8:23 a.m. concerning a motor vehicle collision on Highway 41 in Cypress County involving a school bus and a passenger vehicle.

Both RCMP and EMS responded to the call. There were 14 students aboard the bus. No one was injured in the collision.

The RCMP said conditions were very poor in the area at the time of the collision.

Highway 41 was closed for some time after the collision but reopened by afternoon, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
