Blues At The Bow (BATBOW) closed its 32nd season on a high note.
“Our season ended with a bang, selling out the final show, Samantha Martin with opener Marcus Trummer,” says president Jason Riddell. “We kicked off the season with Bywater Call, followed by Steve Marriner’s 7th visit. Brandon Santini played in September, and our infamous Halloween bash had Little Magic Sam playing for all the costumed attendees. You might’ve recognized that many of these names are Canadian, too!”
As BATBOW prepares for season 33, you are invited to be a part of the magic.
Riddell explains, “We are always looking for volunteers. It takes a village to put on a live concert; from selling drink tickets and checking in ticket holders at the beginning of shows, to promotion committee members and set-up/tear-down helpers. We also have a maintenance committee, if you’re handy with tools. Our board is very laid back, with a variety of ages and personalities. We welcome you to attend a board meeting and see what goes on behind the scenes.”
Another way to support BATBOW is to become a season ticket holder.
“Our season pass holders have a huge impact on our concert series,” says Riddell. “In order to show our thanks for their continued support of live music, season pass holders will be granted early access to our shows (30 minutes before doors open to the general public). No more standing in line early to reserve your favourite spot in the theatre! If you plan on attending any shows for our upcoming 33rd season (we guarantee you four exceptional live music artists), getting a season pass is the way to go. For one of the shows this season, we’re going to have a VIP premium reserved table up for grabs. You’ll be able to have a table of 10 reserved for your group.”
For more than three decades, BATBOW has showcased world class talent right here in Bow Island. Season tickets are on sale now for the 2026/2027 season.
“Head to our website (bluesatthebow.com) to purchase your season pass, and while you’re there, sign up for updates via email or text message so you don’t miss out on any announcements!” Riddell concludes.
