Redcliff residents gear up for annual Community Garage Sale

The Town of Redcliff is calling all residents to clear out their closets and join the annual Community Garage Sale. Set to take place during Redcliff Days from June 19 to 21, the town-wide event offers locals a chance to turn unused items into extra cash while welcoming an influx of visitors.

Redcliff Days brings a surge of energy and foot traffic to the area, creating the perfect environment for a massive community sale. The weekend serves as a highlight of the summer season, drawing crowds from across the region.

“During Redcliff Days, the town is bustling with activities bringing thousands of visitors into the community to enjoy everything we have to offer,” says Shanon Simon, municipal manager. “It’s a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning and earn some cash for your unused items.”

Although exact numbers are hard to pin down since not all independent sellers register through the Town, officials estimate that between 50 and 100 homes participate in the event each year. This high level of participation transforms the town’s neighbourhoods into a sprawling treasure hunt for bargain seekers and antique lovers alike!

Residents looking to participate and get their addresses listed must act quickly. Registration remains open until June 12. To sign up for the Community Garage Sale, locals can send an email to cps@redcliff.ca or call 403-548-3618 before the deadline.
