Congratulations to Eagle Butte High School Grade 12 student Georgia Howe on an achievement that reflects the values of Prairie Rose Public Schools both in and out of the classroom.
Howe was recently awarded the JGL Scholarship through the Saskatchewan High School Rodeo Association, recognizing her leadership, dedication, and contributions to her community.
As part of the scholarship application process, Howe was invited to nominate an organization that has made a meaningful impact in her life. She chose the Agriculture Discovery Centre, resulting in a $4,000 donation to support the program and its work with students.
“Howe’s decision to give back to a program that helped shape her learning journey is a wonderful example of leadership, gratitude, and community spirit in action,” reads a statement from PRPS. “Congratulations, Georgia, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for making a difference for future students!”
