The Redcliff Family and Community Support Services and Town of Redcliff have launched a Social Needs Assessment survey that seeks input from the community on availability of resources, accessibility and overall wellness.

Officials say the survey is available online, as well as a physical paper version, and will take residents a few minutes to complete. Data collected will be used to help guide policies to improve the overall wellbeing of the town.

According to the survey, social needs are defined as human requirements for social interaction and community engagement and include quality of life, affordable housing, mental health, community inclusion and volunteerism.

The survey is anonymous and responses can in no way identify who you are.

In total the survey contains 39 questions, many are multiple choice, while a handful of questions leaves some room for a longer response.

An online link to the survey can be found by visiting Redcliff’s webpage, or by scanning a QR code that can be found on a survey advertisement.

Paper copies of the survey are available at town hall, Redcliff Public Library, Redcliff Youth Centre and the Redcliff Seniors Centre. Completed surveys can be dropped off in the mail slot at town hall.

There is no deadline posted on the amount of time the survey will be open to residents.
