Fischer ready to shine for Cypress County
Cypress County
Our Southern Alberta Summer Games team is preparing for the big event in the County of Forty Mile July 8-11, so we’re profiling a few of our athletes.
Everleigh Fischer discovered her love for track and field in kindergarten at Schuler School, and has been involved in the sport for the past five years. Even as a little kid, she was always running everywhere — something that has not changed. She still loves the feeling of running and finds it incredibly fun.
Her favourite events are the 400 metre race and the high jump.
“I love competing, especially trying to break records,” she says. “I will do my best in representing Cypress County in the Summer Games.”
