Redcliff RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a man who allegedly approached a 12-year-old girl at a school park in July and asked her to get into his car.

Police said the incident happened July 11 at about 9:15 p.m. in the park at Isabel F. Cox Elementary School. The man asked the girl if she wanted to go for a ride in his car. She did not go with him and she was unharmed, according to police.

On Oct. 1 the RCMP released a composite sketch of the suspect. Police describe him as a man in his 30s with a medium complexion, a slightly overweight build, short black hair and an oval face. He was clean shaven and wore an all-black work uniform with blue accents. Investigators say he is believed to have a South Asian accent.

Anyone who can recognize the man or has information is asked to call Redcliff RCMP at 403-548-2222.
